Helping you serve your clients

As a trusted source of support in the community, you're ideally placed to show clients how to access Sydney Water services as economically as possible – especially if they face financial hardship. We can provide resources to help you explore the options.


Accreditation to access Payment Assistance Scheme

Accredited community agencies can offer emergency relief to eligible clients struggling to pay their water bill through our Payment Assistance Scheme (PAS). It's one more way for you to support your clients.
 

People eligible for PAS are:

  • Sydney Water customers who own and live in their own home
  • tenants who pay for their own water.

If you're not yet accredited, apply to become an accredited community agency now. To find out more about how PAS works, contact our Customer Care team at customercare@sydneywater.com.au.

Free speakers for community events

Councils and community organisations can invite someone from our Customer Care team to local events. Let us tailor a presentation to explain the range of support options available to Sydney Water customers in your community. We can even set up a stall at your local festival. Need an interpreter? Just ask.

Topics we can cover, in person or online:

  • information and eligibility for PAS credits for homeowners and tenants experiencing hardship
  • payment plan options
  • pension and other rebates
  • plumbing programs
  • tips on saving water.

Invite us to organise a free presentation or stall at your community event. Call the Customer Care team on 1800 222 280 9am–5pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
