Quarterly drinking water quality report 1 January 2012 to 31 March 2012
Changes to the quarterly report
Sydney Water is committed to continuous improvement. We have reviewed our Quarterly Drinking Water Quality Report in consultation with NSW Health, the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal of NSW (IPART) and the Sydney Catchment Authority to better address our customers' needs and continue to meet our regulatory requirements.
We've made changes to:
include introductory text and background to the tables of data
provide comments on the results
add links to relevant information on our website
increase the report's focus on statistics relating to the measurement of our performance
make the report easier to read with a more logical layout and less repetition
include additional information to more fully address our regulators' and stakeholders' requirements
The Quarterly Drinking Water Quality Report is produced by Sydney Water to inform customers about their water quality and to meet a regulatory requirement to produce a consumer confidence report. The water quality test results cover water:
from the rivers and streams within the catchments and the sea
This report also includes information and data provided by the Sydney Catchment Authority. The Authority works collaboratively with Sydney Water to ensure that the best possible water quality is supplied to our customers.
