Compliance tracking program

Under the Minister's Conditions of Approval for the desalination project, Sydney Water must develop a compliance tracking program to report to the Director General of the NSW Department of Planning every year.

Desalination plant contract

Blue Water - a joint venture between Veolia and John Holland - built the desalination plant. Veolia Water will operate and maintain the plant and Sydney Water will own the plant. The documents below include amendments made to one of the contracts (the Design and Construct Contract) in October 2008.

These documents do not disclose commercial-in-confidence information, in line with Section 15A of the Freedom of Information Act. Pipeline - project alliance agreement

The Water Delivery Alliance which includes Sydney Water, Bovis Lend Lease, McConnell Dowell, Kellogg Brown & Root, Worley Parsons and Environment Resources Management, built the pipeline. Sydney Water owns the pipeline.

Desalination renewable energy contracts

The desalination plant is powered by 100% renewable energy. Sydney Water has signed 20-year energy supply contract with Renewable Power Ventures and Babcock & Brown Power.
