The method of calculating recycled water developer charges is set by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) and includes a CPI adjustment on 1 July each year (latest charges apply at time of payment).
Each recycled water system has a charge which is documented in the Development Servicing Plan for that system. Charges for a development can amount to thousands of dollars, depending on the size and location of the project. You will be advised of any recycled water developer charges or capital contributions you need to pay in your Notice of Requirements letter received from your Water Servicing Coordinator.
